Professional work @ GrayHat · Party multiplayer

A match, start to finish
Each step is a system I worked on
- Join & lobbyPlayers join, bots fill empty seats, and match settings are chosen.
- Fight the roundZero-g momentum, two buttons, power-ups and an optional friendly-fire toggle.
- EliminateOne hit destroys a ship, and elimination logic decides the round.
- Win & restartFirst to three round wins gets the winner screen, then the match restarts.
What I built
Lobby flow, bots, power-ups, round logic, sync fixes
- Joining and lobby: player joining, lobby UI, bot fill-in and configurable match settings.
- Round flow: elimination logic, winner screens and match restart.
- Power-ups and friendly-fire toggles.
- Debugging: multiplayer synchronization issues in fast, physics-heavy play.
The challenge
Party games depend on flow. Players drop in at different times, empty seats need bots, and rounds have to reset cleanly again and again, all in fast, physics-heavy play where one hit decides a round.
The approach
The match is a loop of clear states: lobby, round, elimination, winner screen, restart. Bot fill-in covers empty seats, and match settings such as power-ups and friendly fire are configurable.
